PDFora

Terms of Service

The rules for using PDFora and for buying a PDFora Pro subscription.

Last updated:

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

PDFora™ (https://pdfora.click) is operated by Traffic Corsar SAS, 27 avenue Jean Médecin, 06000 Nice, France, RCS Nice 999 455 512, VAT FR33999455512 ("PDFora", "we", "us"). Contact: support@pdfora.click, +33 7 51 27 79 67.

These terms apply to every use of the website and, together with our Subscription Policy, to the Pro subscription. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data.

The terms are available in English, French, German, Polish and Arabic. The contract is concluded in the language of the version you use; you can save or print this page at any time.

2. The service

PDFora offers online tools to convert, edit, sign and fill in PDF documents. There are two kinds of tools:

  • Browser tools (for example merge, split, rotate, sign, images to PDF, page numbers) run entirely in your browser. Your file is never uploaded to us.
  • Server tools (PDF to Word, PDF to Excel, Word to PDF, Excel to PDF, and PowerPoint to PDF) send your file to our server for conversion. The uploaded file is deleted as soon as it has been converted; the converted file is kept for 60 minutes so that you can download it, then deleted. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Uploading and processing files is free and needs no account. Downloading a result requires an active PDFora Pro subscription. This is shown before you upload a file.

We keep improving the service and may add, change or remove tools. If a change removes a substantial part of what you paid for, you may cancel and ask for a refund of the unused part of your paid period.

3. Your account

You need an account to subscribe and to see your task history. You can sign up with your email address, which you confirm by entering a one-time code we send to it, or, where offered, with Google. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and at least 18 years old to buy a subscription.

Give accurate information, keep the sign-in codes we send you secret, protect access to your email account and tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account unless it was not your fault.

You can delete your account at any time in your account settings. This also cancels a paid subscription at once, so no further charge is made. A charge from the last 14 days can still be refunded if you write to us (see the Subscription Policy).

4. Your files

Your files remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to process them for you, and only for the time needed. We do not look at, analyse, share or reuse the content of your files for any other purpose.

Only upload files you have the right to use. Do not use the service for files that are illegal, that infringe other people's rights, or that contain malware.

Conversions are automatic and the result may differ from the original (layout, fonts, tables, scanned pages). Check the result before you rely on it and keep your original file: we do not keep a copy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or other people's rights through the service;
  • try to access other users' data, our servers or our code without permission, or test their security without our written agreement;
  • overload the service, bypass its limits or paywall, or access it with automated tools (scripts, bots) other than a normal browser;
  • resell or make the service available to others as your own.

We may suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules. Unless urgent action is needed (for example to stop an attack), we warn you first and give you a chance to explain.

6. Pro subscription, prices and payment

PDFora Pro is offered as a monthly plan (the first 7 days at an introductory price, then a monthly price) and as an annual plan. The plans, the renewal reminders, cancellation and refunds are described in the Subscription Policy, which forms part of these terms.

The price, the currency, the billing period and the date of the next charge are shown on the checkout page before you pay. Prices include VAT/GST where the law requires it (EU, Australia); in Canada and the United States applicable sales taxes are added at checkout; in the United Arab Emirates the price shown is final and no VAT is added. In other countries the price is in US dollars, and any tax due in your country is added at checkout; your bank or Stripe may show it converted into your currency.

PDFora Pro is sold through Link, the merchant-of-record service of our payment provider Stripe ("Sold through Link", Sold through Link, LLC (Stripe)). Link processes your payment, charges and passes on VAT, GST or sales tax, and sends your receipts and invoices; your bank statement shows LINK.COM* PDFORA. At checkout you also accept Link's payment terms. We provide the PDFora Pro service itself under these terms. We never see or store your full card number.

PDFora Pro can be bought with a billing address in almost any country. For now it cannot be bought with a billing address in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway, or in a country our payment provider does not serve (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, China, Kosovo, Ascension Island, and Tristan da Cunha). An order with such a billing address is cancelled at once and refunded in full.

7. How the contract is concluded

  • You choose a plan and your country of residence on the pricing page, which shows the price, the billing period, the date of the next charge and how to cancel.
  • You sign in or create an account.
  • You tick the box asking us to start the service immediately (you keep your rights to withdraw and to a refund) and press Subscribe and pay.
  • You are taken to Stripe's secure checkout page (sold through Link), which shows the amount due today including tax and the following charges. You enter your payment details and billing address and confirm with the payment button. Until you press it, you can go back and change anything.
  • The contract is concluded when the payment is accepted. Pro is activated immediately. We confirm the order by email with its key terms and links to these terms and the Subscription Policy; Link sends the receipt.

8. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)

If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the subscription contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise it, inform us (Traffic Corsar SAS, 27 avenue Jean Médecin, 06000 Nice, France, support@pdfora.click) of your decision by a clear statement, for example by email. You may use the model form below, but you don't have to. It is enough to send your statement before the 14 days have passed.

Effects of withdrawal. We will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you.

Starting immediately. At checkout you ask us to start the service immediately, during the withdrawal period. The law would then allow us to keep an amount in proportion to the service already provided. We do not do this: you get the full amount back. Our refund promise is also wider than the law: you can ask for a refund within 14 days of any charge, including renewals (see the Subscription Policy).

We confirm receipt by email straight away, with the content of your withdrawal and the date and time we received it.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and secure but cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, updates or events outside our control may interrupt it.

We are liable under the law for damage we cause intentionally or by gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and for anything else that cannot be limited by law. For the rest, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. We are not liable for the loss of files you did not keep a copy of, as we do not store your originals.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services.

10. Ending the contract

You can stop using the service, cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time.

We may end your access with 30 days' notice by email, or immediately if you seriously break these terms. If we end a paid subscription without fault on your part, we refund the unused part of your paid period.

You can also cancel without logging in with the Cancel contract here link at the bottom of every page: enter your name, your email address and the contract and press Cancel now. We confirm it by email at once, with the date and time of receipt and the date the cancellation takes effect.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. For subscribers, we announce important changes by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect; the previous terms apply until the end of your paid period.

12. Complaints and disputes

Write to support@pdfora.click with any complaint. We answer within 14 days.

A consumer mediator will be designated before paid subscriptions open and named here and in the Legal notice.

The European Commission's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform closed on 20 July 2025.

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you normally live, and you can bring a claim before the courts of that country or of France.

Australia: our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Canada, the United Arab Emirates and all other countries: nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under your local consumer protection law.
